New Paintings Still Wet

When it rains in London there are several undercover arcades to paint in and the Ritz in Piccadilly offers one of the most interesting. The worn flags reflect the passers-by, the red telephone box and news-stand offer a colourful backgound and the arches make for interesting compositions! One of my favourite places, I have painted here many times in watercolour, but this is the first time I can remember working in oils.
